On the nose, it reveals a concentrated aromatic profile of cassis, red berries and tobacco leaf, shaped by depth, clarity and subtle spice.
On the palate, Lady May is focused, structured and exceptionally long, with ripe fruit, precise acidity and beautifully developed tannic structure.
The 24-month maturation in French oak gives the wine additional depth, elegance and outstanding ageing potential. Awarded 98 points by Greg Sherwood MW, 97 points by Tim Atkin MW and ranked #21 in James Suckling’s Top 100 Wines of South Africa, Lady May 2021 is an exceptional red wine for special moments of enjoyment.
