In its second vintage, the Imvini Wethu Cinsault Pinotage once again shines as a fresh, elegant, and complex red wine, glowing in the glass with a brilliant ruby hue.
The blend of Cinsault (70%) and Pinotage (30%) delights with fruit-driven notes of plum, cherry, and redcurrant, enhanced by spicy hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and pepper.
Exotic nuances of licorice and cardamom add depth, while dark chocolate and silky tannins create a smooth, lasting finish. Aged for 18 months in oak, this wine combines harmony, character, and finesse.
The name “Imvini Wethu” means “our vines” – a fitting tribute, as the Cinsault grapes come from an 88-year-old vineyard, the second oldest in South Africa, and the Pinotage from vines over 40 years old.
Bearing the prestigious “Old Vine Heritage Seal”, this wine embodies purpose and connection. With its inspiring story and elegant packaging, it is both a wonderful gift and a testament to South African craftsmanship.
