This guiding motto makes Imvini Wethu Cinsault Pinotage more than just a wine – it’s a symbol of unity, passion, and purpose.
Part of each bottle’s proceeds supports the Old Vine Project and the Cape Winemakers Guild Protégé Programme, empowering young winemakers and strengthening South Africa’s wine heritage.
In the glass, this blend of Cinsault (70%) and Pinotage (30%) shines with a brilliant ruby-red hue and reveals a layered bouquet of plum, cherry, and redcurrant, accented by cinnamon, vanilla, and pepper.
Hints of licorice, cardamom, and dark chocolate add depth and complexity, while silky tannins and 18 months of oak aging lend finesse and harmony.
The Cinsault grapes come from an 88-year-old vineyard – the second-oldest red wine and Cinsault site in South Africa – while the Pinotage is sourced from vines over 40 years old. Bearing the “Old Vine Heritage Seal”, this wine celebrates legacy, collaboration, and craftsmanship.
Imvini Wethu means “our vines” – a name that perfectly reflects its spirit of unity and shared heritage.
