Product information "Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2024"
Pale straw in colour, the bouquet reveals quince, white peach, and yellow apple, accented by subtle spice and striking minerality. On the palate, it is balanced, textured, and refined, showing layers of stone fruit, lemon zest, and chalky freshness.
Half the wine was fermented and aged 11 months in French oak (300L and 500L barrels), while the other half remained in stainless steel to preserve bright fruit and crisp acidity. Both components were blended and aged 2 additional months on the lees for complexity.
A layered, elegant Chenin Blanc with poise, purity, and outstanding ageing potential – a hallmark of Raats Family Wines.
