Product information "Kanonkop Library Release Estate Pinotage 2006"
The 2006 vintage produced classic wines with excellent ageing potential. A slow ripening period and balanced conditions resulted in concentrated grapes with outstanding structure.
In the glass, the Pinotage displays a deep purple colour. The bouquet reveals intense red fruit aromas, plum, cherry and subtle spice notes, adding further depth and complexity.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and beautifully matured, with a smooth structure and long finish. Ageing in French oak barrels adds further complexity and supports the impressive longevity of this special vintage.
A mature Kanonkop Pinotage with true rarity and collector appeal – available only in limited quantities and a real highlight for lovers of aged fine wines.
