The grapes originate from 24-year-old bush vines planted on the renowned Oakleaf and Clovelly soils of Stellenbosch. The 2024 vintage delivered lower yields but exceptional fruit concentration and quality.
Deep dark red in colour, the wine reveals aromas of ripe cherries and dark fruit, complemented by subtle oak notes.
On the palate, the Rebellion Pinotage is smooth, juicy and beautifully balanced. A sweet fruit core is supported by gentle spice and soft tannins. Twelve months of maturation in French oak barrels add depth and complexity while preserving the wine’s fruit-forward personality.
Perfect alongside spicy curries, tacos or Korean BBQ, this Pinotage offers impressive drinkability and vibrant fruit expression. A modern Stellenbosch Pinotage with charm, fruit and unmistakable South African character.
