Product information "Villiera Merlot 2022"
On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied with juicy, soft tannins, giving the Villiera Merlot an approachable character. This elegant Merlot remains Villiera’s best-selling red wine to date and was matured in barriques for twelve months.
It pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, braised beef or a spicy mushroom dish. Pasta and mature hard cheese also enhance its flavours delightfully. For vegetarians, an aubergine lasagne or roasted mushroom risotto is highly recommended – hearty, aromatic, and perfectly matched to the structure of the Villiera Merlot.
