- Classic Simonsberg Cabernet Sauvignon 🍇
- Notes of blackcurrant & chocolate 🍫
- Aged 18 months in French oak ✨
The bouquet displays ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate, creating a rich and inviting aromatic profile.
On the palate, the wine is dry, concentrated, and well-balanced with subtle fruit sweetness, refined tannins, and a long, lingering finish. As the first wine ever produced by the estate, it embodies Thelema’s distinctive style and commitment to quality.
It matured for 18 months in French oak barrels (40% new) – a refined, age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon of great depth and sophistication.
It can easily age for up to 20 years and remains a great food companion for rich meat dishes and sauces.

Thelema – Where Passion Meets Altitude
Wines with Character and Expression
At Thelema, every bottle tells a story of terroir. The estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon has become an international benchmark for Stellenbosch – powerful yet refined, layered yet elegant. Alongside it, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Shiraz reveal a perfect balance of fruit, texture, and complexity. Guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention, the winemaking team allows each vineyard block to express its true personality, resulting in wines that are unmistakably Thelema.
