- First site-specific Pinotage from Beyerskloof 🍇
- 28-year-old bush vines from Stellenbosch 🌿
- Aromas of cassis, dark fruit & chocolate 🍫
In the glass, the wine displays a deep dark red colour. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of blackberries, cassis and dark fruit, complemented by elegant oak notes and hints of chocolate.
On the palate, the Pinotage is powerful, juicy and beautifully balanced. Layers of dark fruit are supported by elegant tannins, subtle spice and well-integrated oak. The long fruit-driven finish highlights the wine’s excellent ageing potential.
Fermentation took place traditionally in open fermenters over four days with manual punch-downs. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 18 months in French oak barrels.
A characterful premium Pinotage with depth, structure and outstanding ageing potential of 10 years or more.
