Product information "B-Stock: Lanzerac Keldermeester Versameling Bergstroom 2023"
The name “Bergstroom” – meaning “mountain stream” – refers to the deep ravines and waterways of the dramatic Jonkershoek Valley, where the grapes originate. The cool mountain climate gives the wine its distinctive freshness and mineral elegance.
On the nose, this classic Bordeaux-style white blend reveals expressive aromas of kiwi, gooseberry and fresh hay. The palate is lively and complex with fine minerality, well-balanced acidity and a long refreshing finish.
To enhance depth and texture, the Sauvignon Blanc enjoyed 24 hours of skin contact, while the Semillon was gently pressed using a small basket press. Fermentation took place mainly with natural yeasts in older French oak barrels, followed by six months of maturation before blending and bottling.
An elegant terroir-driven white blend with boutique character, freshness and remarkable balance.
