On the nose, expect ripe cherries, plums and subtle vanilla pods, layered with liquorice and cedar wood in the background.
On the palate the wine shows rich red and black fruit, smooth tannins and a fine oak spice. The extended maturation of about 16 months in French and American oak gives it complexity and length.
