On the nose, it reveals an intense aromatic profile of dark plum, black cherry and violets, complemented by baking spice, fresh vanilla pod, dark cocoa and lightly toasted oak.
On the palate, this Pinotage is bold, concentrated and elegant, with impressive fruit intensity, fine-grained tannins and a mouth-filling, harmonious character.
The 20-month maturation in French oak gives the wine additional depth and structure. As a Limited Release made in small quantities, this Pinotage is a special choice for lovers of characterful South African red wines – ideal with hearty meat dishes.
