Product information "Ernie Els Big Easy Chenin Blanc 2025"
The combination of younger and older vineyard blocks gives the wine its impressive balance. Younger vines provide vibrant fruit and freshness, while older high-altitude vineyards add depth, complexity and a richer texture.
In the glass, the Big Easy Chenin Blanc displays a bright straw colour. The nose reveals pear, apple, lemon and fresh ginger aromas, complemented by tropical hints of pineapple and peach. On the palate, the wine is juicy, fresh and fruit-driven with crisp apple-like acidity, fine texture and an energetic grapefruit finish.
The grapes were harvested during the cool early morning hours and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine remained on the lees for three months to preserve freshness and enhance texture. No oak was used, allowing the wine’s clean and modern style to shine through.
