On the palate, dark fruits and subtle smoky nuances dominate, giving this masterfully crafted cuvée its exceptional depth. The Babylonstoren Babel Red Blend Magnum is composed of Shiraz (34%), Cabernet Sauvignon (24.5%), Merlot (11%), Malbec (8%), Petit Verdot (7%), Cabernet Franc (5.5%), Pinotage (4%), Mourvèdre (2%), Grenache Noir (2%), Barbera (1.5%), and Marselan (0.5%). Soft tannins provide an elegant structure and a pleasantly full-bodied mouthfeel.
Aged for twelve months in French oak, the Babylonstoren Babel Red Blend Magnum reveals its full character. Enjoy this expressive red wine on its own or as the perfect pairing for spicy dishes, game, or dark meats. It is particularly delicious when served with rosemary-infused lamb.
