Product information "Asara Cape Fusion Red 2022"
Each variety is planted on carefully selected soils and elevations. Pinotage from the highest vineyards on the estate contributes vibrant fruit character, while Shiraz grown on lean Oakleaf soils adds concentrated spice and structure. Malbec enhances the blend with deep colour and elegant dark fruit.
On the nose, the wine reveals spice, mocha and dark berry aromas. The palate is full and smooth with flavours of blackberry, dark chocolate and sweet violet, supported by a dry yet fruit-driven style.
The grapes are harvested during the cool morning hours and gently processed. Pinotage matures for several months in French oak, while Shiraz and Malbec are aged in older French barriques to preserve freshness and fruit purity. Only the finest barrels are selected for the final blend.
