Although the vintage delivered one of the smallest crops in recent years, it produced wines of remarkable intensity, colour and quality.
On the nose, aromas of cherry, blueberry and delicate floral notes unfold alongside hints of caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg.
On the palate, the Sangiovese is vibrant, smooth and beautifully balanced, with juicy cherry fruit, subtle spice and elegant tannin structure. Maturation in French and American oak barrels adds depth and a pleasantly persistent finish.
A modern and expressive Sangiovese with Mediterranean style and South African elegance.
