Lynne Sherriff
South African-born Lynne Sherriff has been the chairwoman of the "Master of wine" institute, based in London, since 2010. The former master cellarer, who has worked in Stellenbosch, Germany and France, received the award of the same name back in 1993 in recognition of her inspirational and determined leadership in the world of wine experts. Together with South African Su Birch, CEO of Wines of South Africa, she was nominated in 2012 for the top list of the "World's most influential personalities in wine" and ranked among the top 10. Lynne Sherriff was chosen for her extraordinary commitment, especially in her home wine industry.
