Product information "Simonsig Syrah Merindol 2020"
On the nose, it reveals an aromatic profile of spiced red cherry, raspberry and violets, giving the wine an elegant, fragrant and expressive Syrah character.
On the palate, the Syrah is fruit-driven, vibrant and harmonious, with red cherry, juicy blackberry and subtle liquorice notes. Soft, round tannins provide structure, while lively acidity brings freshness and balance.
Aged for 17 months in French oak, the wine gains additional depth and fine spice. It pairs especially well with lamb, grilled steak or aromatic mushroom dishes in tomato-based sauce.
