On the palate, this cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Petit Verdot (40%) impresses with its powerful structure. The present yet perfectly integrated tannins lend it a velvety elegance. The balance between tannins, fruit, and oak notes ensures excellent harmony, giving the wine an elegant fullness with remarkable body and weight.
Thanks to its robust and multifaceted structure, the Paserene Marathon pairs exceptionally well with bold dishes. It is particularly recommended with dark meats such as grilled lamb with plenty of rosemary or a marbled ribeye straight from the grill. Additionally, duck or other game birds complement the wine beautifully, as they enhance its juicy, sweet berry notes.
