Product information "Lievland Liefkoos Rosé 2024"
The grapes originate from selected Shiraz and Mourvèdre vineyard parcels on Lievland Estate, complemented by Cinsault from Stellenbosch. The vineyards are situated at approximately 300 metres above sea level on north-west facing slopes with complex Clovelly, Oakleaf, Klapmuts and Sterkspruit soils.
In the glass, the wine displays a delicate pale salmon colour. The nose reveals pomegranate, red currant and cranberry aromas. On the palate, flavours of citrus peel, fresh raspberry and red cherry create a vibrant and beautifully focused expression.
Extended lees contact adds texture and complexity, while lively acidity and a long elegant finish complete this refined rosé style.
