Product information "Glenelly Estate Reserve Red 2018"
On the nose, it reveals a complex aromatic profile of cassis, mulberry, cedar and tobacco, complemented by red and black cherry as well as a hint of black pepper.
On the palate, the Estate Reserve is intense, structured and layered, with dark fruit, mocha, Christmas cake, sandalwood and subtle leather notes. Fresh acidity and firm tannins bring balance and length.
The 18-month maturation in French oak gives the wine additional depth and elegance. Awarded 5 stars in Platter’s Wine Guide, 94 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards and 93 points by Tim Atkin MW, this Glenelly Estate Reserve is an excellent red wine with beautiful ageing potential.
