Dornier Scarlette 2018 - Characterful Red Blend with Depth and Elegance
The Dornier Scarlette 2018 is an exclusive red blend originally created for Dornier Wine Club members, composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Shiraz, and 10% Merlot. It opens with rich aromas of cassis, blackberry, cigar box, and pencil shavings, clearly driven by the Cabernet.
Shiraz adds fresh red fruit and weight, while Merlot contributes chocolate notes and a smooth finish. Bright ruby in color, the wine lingers with a long, aromatic aftertaste.
Grapes are sourced from premium vineyards on the slopes of Stellenbosch Mountain and Simonsberg. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak, 30% of which was new.
Excellent with grilled meats, stews, and aged cheeses - a structured, polished red with finesse.
