Product information "De Toren Fusion V 2021"
On the nose, Fusion V is layered and expressive, opening with creamy red fruit such as cranberry and cherry, followed by dark sour cherry, refined tobacco spice and a subtle hint of aniseed. Delicate oak notes add further depth and elegance.
On the palate, the wine is powerful yet silky smooth. A fine-grained, beautifully integrated tannin structure envelops the mouth, while concentrated fruit, vibrant acidity and savoury spice create tension, length and balance.
The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot showcases the brilliance of an outstanding vintage and reflects De Toren’s distinctive terroir with impressive precision. Oak maturation adds structure, complexity and excellent ageing potential.
An elegant and age-worthy premium red wine with dark fruit, silky texture and classic Bordeaux finesse – ideal with dark meat, lamb or special wine moments.
