Product information "Beyerskloof Pinotage Reserve 2024"
The grapes originate from 26-year-old bush vines planted on Stellenbosch’s characteristic Oakleaf soils. Despite lower yields, the vintage conditions produced exceptionally concentrated and high-quality fruit.
In the glass, the wine displays a deep dark red colour. The nose reveals black fruit aromas and delicate cedar oak notes, complemented by subtle barrel spice.
On the palate, the Pinotage is powerful yet harmonious with juicy structure, smooth tannins and a long fruit-driven finish. Maturation for 12 months in second- and third-fill French oak barrels adds depth and elegance while preserving the wine’s vibrant fruit expression.
A characterful Stellenbosch Pinotage with dark fruit, subtle spice and excellent ageing potential.
