The Raats Méthode Ancestrale 2024 is an exceptional sparkling wine made from 100% Pinotage using the traditional Méthode Ancestrale. Aromas of red apple skin, pomegranate, fynbos and delicate brioche meet a fine, mouth-filling mousse and vibrant youthful freshness.
The Graham Beck Cap Classique Brut is not only a classic among South African sparkling wines, but also a symbol of special moments. Fresh citrus notes, delicate fruit and subtle yeast nuances define its elegant character. The blend of Chardonnay (53%) and Pinot Noir (47%) offers beautiful balance and a clear, sparkling finish.
The Plaisir Grand Brut 2018 displays a pale straw colour with fine, persistent bubbles. Aromas of wild roses, white pear and green apple combine with delicate hazelnut notes, a creamy texture and fresh citrus accents. The blend of Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay (40%) spent 28 months on the lees following its second fermentation.
The Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut 2024 continues an important South African sparkling wine tradition: Simonsig produced the country's first Cap Classique back in 1971. Crisp green apple, pear, citrus and delicate brioche meet lively acidity and subtle minerality – elegant, fresh and full of finesse.
The Steenberg Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc delights with its vibrant and easy-drinking character. Passion fruit, melon and lime define the bouquet, while tropical flavours of pineapple, guava and pear unfold on the palate. Its crisp structure and fresh fruit make it a wonderfully refreshing sparkling wine.
The Villiera Tradition Brut Rosé combines Pinot Noir (35%), Chardonnay (30%), Pinotage (30%) and Pinot Meunier (5%) in an elegant Cap Classique with a bright rosé colour and fine bubbles. Intense, balanced and fresh on the palate, eighteen months of lees ageing give it additional finesse, depth and elegance.
