Kaapse Vonkel Brut

Kaapse Vonkel Brut from Simonsig is the first sparkling wine from South Africa produced according to the Méthode Cap Classique (Champagne method). Frans Malan, the founder of the Simonsig winery, produced the first Cap Classique as early as 1971. The classic Kaapse Vonkel Brut is made from the three grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Notes of peach and red berries create a fresh pleasure. Kaapse Vonkel Brut is the most popular sparkling wine in South Africa and is also known far beyond national borders.
