Decomposed granite soils provide the wine with its distinctive mineral character and reflect the unique terroir of the Helderberg region. The outstandingly balanced 2025 vintage produced slowly ripened grapes with remarkable flavour concentration and harmony.
The nose reveals green melon, guava, passionfruit and blackcurrant, complemented by notes of grapefruit and blood orange. A flinty mineral character adds further complexity and elegance.
On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc is focused and precise. A subtle saline entry leads into a tightly structured palate featuring green melon, cassis and hints of dragon fruit. Vibrant acidity drives the wine towards a long, mineral and refreshing finish.
Part of the exclusive The Mira Series, this wine reflects a sense of place, precision and cosmic inspiration through the Mira binary star – an elegant Sauvignon Blanc with remarkable character.
