Product information "Muratie Ansela van de Caab 2022"
On the nose, it reveals an intense bouquet of blackcurrant, cassis and refined oak spice. Delicate hints of tea leaves, sandalwood, cigar box and graphite add further depth and complexity to the concentrated dark fruit.
On the palate, this blend is rich, velvety and elegantly structured. Intense dark fruit is complemented by supple, well-rounded tannins and fresh acidity. Savoury notes of olive tapenade create additional depth and a long, expressive finish.
The total of 28 months of maturation in French oak gives Muratie Ansela van de Caab 2022 remarkable depth and structure. Already approachable, this powerful red wine has the potential to develop further complexity over at least another decade. It pairs beautifully with beef, game, hearty braised dishes or mature cheese.
