Product information "Leopard’s Leap Pardus 2023"
The blend combines ripe Stellenbosch Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon and over 35-year-old dry-land bush vine Cinsault from Darling. The combination of these terroirs adds depth, freshness and layered complexity.
On the nose, the wine reveals red fruit, dark berries and mulberries, supported by subtle spice notes. The palate is smooth, structured and beautifully balanced with integrated oak, refined tannins and a long elegant finish.
The hand-picked and hand-sorted grapes were fermented separately before individual maturation in French oak barrels. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 18 months in first-, second- and third-fill barrels, while the Cinsault spent 12 months in older oak.
A sophisticated South African blend with fruit, spice and classic elegance – ideal for memorable wine occasions.
