The Stellenzicht Arenite Syrah is a characterful expression of its grape variety and was matured for fifteen months in French oak. This red wine pairs beautifully with robust meat dishes such as rack of lamb, braised beef or game. It is also a delight with mature hard cheeses. Incidentally, the name “Arenite” refers to the soil in which the vines for this wine are grown: arenite is a type of sandstone.
