This blend, led by Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), is enhanced by Shiraz (30%) which adds a spicy character and a hint of fresh pine needles. Small amounts of Cabernet Franc (5%), Petit Verdot (5%), Merlot (5%) and Malbec (5%) contribute additional depth - with notes of cacao, red pepper and tomato leaf.
The harmonious balance between medium body and well-judged freshness provides the perfect stage for the complex fruit and silky-smooth tannins.
Aged for fourteen months in French and American oak, this red wine is a superb match for barbecued dishes, pasta with spicy tomato sauce, or grilled Mediterranean vegetables.
