On the palate, ripe fruit and spice unfold alongside delicate violet notes. The wine offers fine structure with well-integrated oak and balanced tannins, resulting in a rounded, full-bodied mouthfeel.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, this red blend pairs beautifully with hearty dishes - especially lamb, beef. It’s a versatile wine that adds depth to every meal.
Though its grape varieties have Portuguese origins, the vines thrive in Calitzdorp’s unique climate - making this red blend a striking expression of cross-continental character and a proud representative of De Krans' craftsmanship.
