Shiraz

The Shiraz grape is originally from France, where it is known as Syrah. The name Shiraz comes from Australia, where the grape variety is so successful that this name has prevailed on the labels. In warmer countries, the grape represents sweetness and maturity, leaving a slight taste of chocolate on the tongue.French Syrah is spicy, tasting subtly of pepper, with rich tannins.Taken together, they always make a fragrant and full-bodied red wine.Shiraz is one of the noblest grape varieties and has enormous development potential due to its high storage capacity. South Africa in particular focuses on this grape variety and produces excellent red wine from this grape variety in Stellenbosch and Paarl, among other places.
