- Full-bodied Shiraz from the Simonsberg 🍷
- Notes of cassis, leather & white pepper 🌿
- Aged 18 months in French oak ⏳
Deep ruby in colour, it reveals aromas of blackcurrant, leather, wood spice, and white pepper. On the palate, it is silky, rich, and well-balanced, combining dark chocolate intensity with refined finesse.
The grapes grow on shale, granite, and Tukulu soils on the slopes of the Simonsberg between Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, and Paarl. After fermentation and malolactic conversion, the wine was aged 18 months in French oak (50% new) to achieve depth, structure, and ageing potential of up to ten years.
A refined, expressive Shiraz – powerful yet elegant, perfect with rich meats or for special occasions.
