The elegant Riesling Méthode traditional is dedicated to Maria Angelika Huesgen, who took over the winery in 1782 and is still considered a "Grand Dame" today. Louise Christine Huesgen also had a significant influence. In the 19th century, the merchant's daughter and her husband ensured that a new wine cellar was built directly on the banks of the Moselle. The fine fruity slate Riesling dry is a reminder of this. Finally, Lotte Huesgen joins the ranks of strong women. After the Second World War and the death of her husband, she had to continue the winery in Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle on her own. Her strength is in no way inferior to the opulent Riesling dry old vine, whose grapes come from vines over 120 years old.
