On the nose, it reveals delicate brioche notes, reminiscent of apple crumble, forming an elegant foundation for aromas of yellow fruits and ripe pear - a reflection of the warm vintage.
On the palate, the Waterford Blanc de Blancs Cap Classique delights with a refined mousse and smooth texture. A vibrant acidity is complemented by subtle notes of pear and a hint of lime. Green apple adds freshness, while a delicate, well-balanced sweetness rounds off the finish.
Thanks to its six years of lees ageing, this Cap Classique gains remarkable depth and structure. As it matures, rich brioche and nutty notes take centre stage, further enhancing the luxurious mouthfeel. The mousse becomes even finer, the complexity increases - the Waterford Blanc de Blancs Cap Classique is a sparkling wine of character and elegance.
This sparkling wine is an excellent companion to refined seafood such as oysters or scallops, pairs beautifully with goat’s cheese crostini or salmon tartare, and also shines as an elegant aperitif or on special occasions.
