Simonsig Chenin Blanc Pinotage Rosé 2023

Product information "Simonsig Chenin Blanc Pinotage Rosé 2023"
The Simonsig Chenin Blanc Pinotage Rosé catches the soft light of the sunset in the glass and scents wonderfully of strawberries, passion fruit and ripe pineapple. Light floral nuances skilfully underline the fruity aromas. The blend of Chenin Blanc (64%) and Pinotage (36%) also shows its fruity side on the palate. A crisp acidity and a creamy texture make the taste experience perfect. The elegant and balanced Simonsig Chein Blanc Pinotage Rosé is a wonderful wine for any occasion, but it also accompanies pasta with seafood, salmon with salad or sushi quite excellently.

Simonsig for the Wine Lover

Simonsig wine stands for exceptional quality and excites wine lovers worldwide. The winemakers apply laborious cultivation methods at the wine slopes and use modern cellar technology to produce the best wine possible. They also make sure that a Simonsig wine reflects its terroir as well as the taste that is typical for the grape variety.

Simonsig Located Ideally

The winery Simonsig is located 45 kilometres away from Cape Town and belongs to the region Stellenbosch. This area counts as one of South Africa's best wine regions according to many experts; no other region's yard produces as many premium wines as they do here. This is not surprising, as Stellenbosch and therefore vineyards such as Simonsig benefit from the ideal location. Soils are full of minerals and supply the vines with precious nutrients due to sufficient rainfall, whilst the breeze from the Atlantic makes for the required cooling.

Simonsig Wine Relies on its Winemakers

A true Simonsig wine only becomes possible with the expertise of the winemakers. This is why the yard attaches great importance to highly trained winemakers and wine growers, who accompany the cultivation and maturing process of the wine with much love and knowledge.

Biodiversity & Wine Initiative at Simonsig

In order to ensure a sustainable handling with nature, Simonsig is part of the Biodiversity & Wine Initiative. The winery grows a range of different grape varieties to have a great spectrum of plants in the region and to use the natural resources optimally. This is another example of the winemakers' expertise, who succeed in combining the different grape varieties every year - and this of a constant high quality. Additionally, Simonsig is active in preservation of native plants such as the Fynbos.
