On the nose, it reveals a layered aromatic profile of ripe red berries, cocoa and chocolate, complemented by a delicate hint of mint.
On the palate, this Merlot is full-bodied, balanced and fruit-driven, with strawberry, cherry and pomegranate notes. The well-integrated tannin structure brings balance and a harmonious mouthfeel.
The twelve-month maturation in French oak brings wood, fruit and tannins together with elegance and adds further depth. This Merlot pairs beautifully with veal chops and mushrooms, pasta with savoury sauce or creamy cheese risotto.
