On the nose, it reveals an expressive profile of cherry, aniseed and tomato leaf, combining ripe fruit with subtle herbaceous undertones. On the palate, ripe red fruit flavours are supported by firm tannins and lively acidity, giving the wine balance and length.
Aged for 15 months in French oak, the Merlot gains additional depth and complexity while preserving its clear red fruit and elegant herbal character. A characterful Merlot from Constantia with freshness, structure and fine spice.
