Aromas of spicy oak and red currants are added and are surrounded by light fennel tones. Full-bodied and well-structured, the red wine, which was aged for twelve months in French oak, is an excellent companion to pasta, duck or game. But the Zevenwacht Merlot is also a treat on its own.
