Young wine

As long as fermentation has not been completed and the wine has not yet been clarified by the yeast, it is called a young wine. These differ significantly from longer matured wines. Young wines have a distinctly different color and have fewer flavor nuances. However, they are typical for their effervescence and cloudiness, which is due to the yeast. Classic grape varieties for young wines are Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
