Worcester

Worcester is located between the Paarl and Robertson areas in the Breede River Valley region. By volume, it is the largest wine growing region in all of South Africa. The mixture of a dry, warm climate and irrigation from numerous reservoirs make Worcester a fertile region. Chenin Blanc, Colombard as well as Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are the most characteristic grape varieties, which mainly produce "easy drinking wines" here.
