Tartaric acid

Along with malic acid, tartaric acid is the main acid in wine. It is found exclusively in grapes.Tartaric acid is high quality and highly desirable in wines because it is soft and has a pleasant taste. The higher the tartaric acid, the longer a white wine can age in the bottle, for example. When tartaric acid is present in high concentration in an alcoholic solution, the wine precipitates this part.
