Robert Parker Points

Robert Parker has developed a rating system to represent the quality of wines. These points are awarded on a scale of 50 to 100 points. 50-59 points means that the wine is unacceptable. A below average wine with noticeable flaws such as over-acidity earns between 60 and 69 points. Simple, solid wines get up to 79 points in Robert Parker's scoring system. Points from 80-89 are awarded to good to above-average wines that have fine flavor and plenty of character without noticeable flaws. Outstanding wines with exceptional complexity and character receive up to 95 Parker points. 96-100 points reach only the very few wines. Such exceptional drops possess a profound and complex character. They are particularly hard to find and allow you to experience wine enjoyment at the very highest level.
