Magnum bottle

The magnum bottle is a wine bottle with a capacity of 1.5 litres, which was already created in France in the 17th century. The wine matures more slowly and elegantly here, which has a clearly positive effect on the quality of some wines. In addition, it is better protected by the thicker and darker glass because less light comes through. Since this bottle is considerably more expensive to produce, it is usually only used for the noblest drops. The magnum bottle is particularly suitable for champagne.
