The Vrede en Lust Ella is an elegant red wine blend of Grenache Noir (71%), Shiraz (22%) and Viognier (7%), which spoils the connoisseur's senses with its concentrated aromas of red fruits and a nice hint of violets. On the palate, the red wine, which was aged for twelve months in oak, is beautifully soft with pleasant tannins. Enjoy the Vrede en Lust Ella, which is named after the owner's youngest daughter, in its pure form. But you can also combine the red wine excellently with spicy dishes.

Vrede en Lust belongs to the cultivation area Franschhoek and benefits from the ideal geographical as well as climatic conditions. Soils are rich in minerals and deliver sufficient nutrients for the vines, whilst the combination of long sun hours and the cooling Atlantic breeze, the Cape Doctor, ensures that the vines can ripen optimally.
