On the palate, this red wine is complex and multi-layered. Flavors of creamy strawberry and ripe plum intertwine with fine earthy tones and fynbos, the distinctive South African flora. Aged for twelve months in French oak, the wine is beautifully balanced, with fine, well-integrated tannins that lead to a long finish.
The Simonsig Labyrinth Cabernet Sauvignon is the perfect companion to braised beef with turnips and carrot purée, lamb with roasted cauliflower, and hearty pasta dishes.
