Rickety Bridge The Crossover Pinotage 2019

Product information "Rickety Bridge The Crossover Pinotage 2019"
The refined Rickety Bridge The Crossover Pinotage delights on the nose with light aromas of dark fruits and oak. On the palate, the red wine from South Africa's national grape is velvety smooth and the tannins are well integrated. The grapes used for the complex Rickety Bridge The Crossover Pinotage, limited to 3010 bottles, come from Franschhoek and skilfully reflect the terroir. Spicy dishes, duck, dark meat or game are an excellent choice with the red wine, which was matured for 24 months in French oak. But the Rickety Bridge The Crossover Pinotage is also always a delight to the palate on its own. By the way, the "Crossover" in the name stands for the crossing of the bridge that leads to the winery, because like all wines from Rickety Bridges Icon Range, the Rickety Bridge The Crossover Pinotage also tells a little story around the name of the winery.

Tradition Meets Modernity at Rickety Bridge

The Rickety Bridge winery is located in the immediate vicinity of Franschhoek, a place known for its excellent South African wines and tasty delicacies. Located between the Dassenberg Mountain and the Franschhoek River, the vineyard blends perfectly into an almost picturesque panorama. Rickety Bridge is a winery with a long tradition. The history goes back to the 17th century, when the manor was part of the La Provence farm. The farm was originally managed by Huguenot farmers and it was not until 1990 that the current Rickety Bridge winery was founded.

Excellent Rickety Bridge Premium Wines

This scenery paired with the unique Franschhoek terroir is perfectly suited cellar mastr Donovan Ackermann to create excellent South African wine. The noble wines are aged in the restored wine cellar. The progressive Rickety Bridge winery relies on the most modern standards in wine production and the winemaker combines perfectionism with passion. The results from the wine cellar are impressive – be it the Rickety Bridge Paulina’s Reserve Collection with excellent red and white wines, named after the first owner of the estate Paulina de Viliers or The Bridge, which stands out as a flagship wine. The estate's South African premium wines have received numerous international awards and know how to inspire the connoisseur.

Rickety Bridge is More Than Just a Winery

The Rickety Bridge winery has a lot more to offer. An exclusive accommodation in the Manor House with only a few rooms for guests leaves nothing to be desired. The beautiful landscape of the estate on the Franschhoek River is something you won't forget. This ambience is perfect for weddings that can be held on the estate. In addition, there is a first-class restaurant with South African cuisine, which also contributes to making the Rickety Bridge Winery such a popular destination for excursions.
