- Delicate fruit & mineral freshness 🍏
- Partial ageing in French oak 🍷
- From vines over 40 years old 🍇
On the palate, the wine is precise, well-balanced and structured, with a clear expression of stone fruit and a touch of zesty citrus. It’s fresh yet layered, with a smooth texture and elegant finish.
Approximately 50% of the wine was aged for eleven months in French oak barrels, adding depth and complexity while preserving its lively fruit profile.
A great match for fish, seafood or mild curries - but also an excellent choice on its own.
Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc - authentic, balanced and full of character.
