Delheim Edelspatz Riesling Botrytis 2021 - Noble Sweetness at Its Finest
Experience one of South Africa’s most iconic Noble Late Harvest wines: the Delheim Edelspatz Riesling Botrytis 2021. Crafted from 100% Riesling grown in a certified old-vine single vineyard on the slopes of Simonsberg in Stellenbosch, this wine showcases the exceptional beauty of botrytized grapes.
On the nose, it seduces with honeysuckle, dried peaches, orange blossom and marmalade. The palate is rich, elegant and beautifully balanced between its intense sweetness (205 g/l residual sugar) and bright acidity - leading to a long, luxurious finish.
Hand-harvested and gently whole-bunch pressed, the wine was fermented and matured for 9 months in French oak barrels, resulting in layered complexity and outstanding finesse.
Perfect pairing: Top-quality Gorgonzola or creamy desserts.
